WPlus9 June Release Sneak Peek: Day 4

Hi bloggies! How was your Memorial Day weekend? We had a nice barbecue in the back with friends and family. There was so much food! OMGosh! I will have to work out twice as hard to get all those calories off! lol!

Anyway, I'm back for the WPlus9 June Release Sneak Peek: Day 4. I hope you have all enjoyed the cards that I've been chugging out. :P I made a very, very layered card for today's sneak peak. I'm really obsessed with using the cake stamp and so here I am with it again! I noticed that the other ladies in the design team have been using the ice cream stamps. So I guess we're all evened out. Here's my card for Day 4. I hope you all like it!

I used different WPlus9 stamps for my card. Of course I used Pile It On for that cute cake. I also stamped the border stamp from Mehndi Medallions on the bottom to give it a bit of a design. I thought that was such a cute touch. I also stamped the large medallions from the same stamp set on the background paper from Prima. I'm not sure if you can see it, but I stamped some butterflies on the canvas. It's from Flora and Fauna, also from WPlus9. I like using different stamps from different stamp sets together.

We're not done yet! I was a little busy bee and decided to make one more card. For this second card I used the ice cream stamp. I also used the die that coordinated with the stamp set. I'm not very good with cutesy stamps, so I hope I did this one justice. I was thinking of a card for a little girl who might be into fairies and ice cream. Haha! I hope you like this one too! :)

I'll see you again tomorrow for another sneak peek of Pile It On! Don't forget to check out the other fabulous designers of the WPlus9 Design Team! :)

The Craft's Meow June Release - Day 4

***Don't forget to check out my WPlus9 June Release Sneak Peek: Day 4 here.***

Hi friends! It's day 4 of The Craft's Meow June Release. Which of the stamp sets so far has caught your eye? Or have they all?! :) Well, we have one more set to show off today. It's called It's A Shore Thing, from the very talented Michelle Bertuzzi. This set is perfect for the summer season. Let's get on with it shall we?

I hope you like it because I am totally loving it! The colors I used are sooo summery. Can you see that cute wave image on the side? Isn't it adorable?! I also used this gorgeous light blue crochet lace. It's from the same etsy store that just closed recently. I'm sure you'll be able to find another source for it though because it's very popular these days.

I used my new Nested Hearts Spellbinders die on it too. The design isn't new actually, I just got it recently. :) I'm still trying to get a hang of inking it once I emboss it. I also used that cute artisan element from Pink Paislee. It looked so much like waves to me that it seemed perfect for this card. I hope you like everything you're seeing! :)

WPlus9 June Release Sneak Peek: Day 3

Hi bloggies! It's Day 3 of the Wplus9 June Release Sneak Peeks! I hope you're all enjoying yourselves and that you're getting great ideas from the design team members. If you're into shabby chic , then you're in the right blog. :) I have a nice "modern" shabby chic card for everyone today. I borrowed the term "modern" shabby chic from a friend here in blogland. I had no name for my version of shabby chic lol! And when my friend explained what "modern" shabby chic was to her it made sense to me! :)

Here's my card for WPlus9 June Release Sneak Peek: Day 3 - Pile It On.

For today's card, I used this gorgeous Prima patterned paper. I was sitting at my desk and didn't have an idea what I was going to make. When that happens I usually grab some patterned papers and it usually helps give me some inspiration. I LOVE the colors on this patterned paper and decided to work on that. I told you this set was versatile! The dies can work as either ice cream cones or banners. I'm pretty sure there are more than just two ways to use them...I just haven't thought of them yet! Haha! :)

I stamped the cake with some wheat ink and I stamped the polka dot design over it using olive chalk ink. I also used the Brothers and Sisters label stamp and die. I am loving the lace I used on this card. I'm terribly sorry that I can't tell you where I got it from. I actually got it right before the etsy store was closing and so now I can't even remember the name of the store itself. I also stamped the dogwood flowers from Flora and Fauna. It's one of my favorite WPlus9 stamp sets. :) I hope you're liking what you see so far!

The Craft's Meow June Release - Day 3

Hi friends! I'm back AGAIN! Are you ladies sick of me by now?! Haha! I'll be having two posts every night until June 1st. So hang in there with me and enjoy the ride! Today is Day 3 of The Craft's Meow June Release. We have an absolutely fun stamp set from Nina Brackett today, it's called Sending You Sunshine. We also have a small sentiment stamp called Just Sayin' accompanying it. Without further ado...here are my cards for today's sneak peek! :)

Let's start with Sending You Sunshine. Let me just say that this stamp set is suuuuuper cute!!! There are so many images that you can mix and match! I'm still not yet good with my copics. Thankfully these images were easy to color. It's a pretty simple card. I was thinking it would be great for a baby girl. :) How do you like it?

I have a second card for today. This one is for Just Sayin'. I used the background letter stamp so create that cute little central panel. I also used my favorite TCM stamp, Butterfly Kisses. And, I couldn't resist, but I had to use my Timeless Tags again! :) The fairy image beneath the ornate frame is from Graphic 45. It's available over at the TCM store

And now for the prizes...as is customary for The Craft's Meow, we'll draw THREE of you to win Sending You Sunshine... one from each of three of the design team blogs. You'll have until 10:00 pm Pacific tonight to make the rounds and leave comments. We'll announce the winners in tomorrow's post. Enjoy and good luck!!!

The Craft's Meow June Release - Day 2

***Don't forget to check out my WPlus9 June Release Sneak Peek: Day 2 right here.***

Hi bloggies! I told you I was going to be a busy bee until June 1st. I'm not used to making two-three posts a night for consecutive nights. I am totally running out of stuff to say! lol! I hope you're all having fun with the releases though! The Craft's Meow has another fantastic stamp set for everyone today. This one is for everyone who LOVES labels. And I DO!!! :)

I'm just going to jump right into it ok? :) Here's my card for day 2.

Timeless Tags by the very talented Nina Brackett is made up of 4 main label stamps as well as sentiments and that gorgeous flourish I used on my card. I love the intricate designs on the labels and the font is just perfect for my style. I can see myself using this set over and over again. :) I also used another one of the stamps from Celebrating You here on my card. When I was envisioning this card, I could see the beautiful fuchsia flowers peeking from behind the gorgeous label.

Of course we can't have a card without some flowers, crochet lace, and bling. Haha! How are you liking my card so far? I hope I'm giving you some ideas as to how to use the stamps. I know for myself, I look forward to release days to get as many ideas for the new stamp set as possible.

And now for the prizes...as is customary for The Craft's Meow, we'll draw THREE of you to win Timeless Tags... one from each of three of the design team blogs. You'll have until 10:00 pm Pacific tonight to make the rounds and leave comments. We'll announce the winners in tomorrow's post. Enjoy and good luck!!!

WPlus9 June Release Sneak Peek: Day 2

Hi friends! Whew what a busy weekend! But then again, it's also VERY exciting! If you're a little late to the party, you should know what WPLus9 is releasing a fun stamp set with coordinating die this June. It's called Pile It On, and I'm thinking you will have so much use for it for birthday/party cards. It is absolutely wonderful!

For Day 2 of the sneak peek, I have something a little more simple, less layered and cutesy for everyone. I know not everyone likes to do too much layering like I do...so I made this one for all of you who like it simple and cutesy.

I thought it would be nice to have something sweet and simple. For this card, I used Mehndi Medallions to make a small panel of background paper. It's one of my favorite WPlus9 stamps. It's so versatile that I've found myself grabbing it without even thinking twice. I also stamped and die cut the gorgeous label from Brothers and Sisters. If you've been following me for some time now you'll probably notice that I LOVE labels. Hee! :)

I used the same stamp from yesterday's card, except this time I used it as a cake! I told you it was versatile!!! Isn't it great?! I think this is the best use for it though. It would be great for birthdays. anniversaries, parties... The possibilities are endless!!! I guess the only thing that would hinder you would be  your imagination. :) I hope you're liking the cards from the sneak peeks. We're going to have it until June 1st when it's released over at the WPlus9 store.

I'll see you again tomorrow for another sneak peek of Pile It On! Don't forget to check out the other fabulous designers of the WPlus9 Design Team! :)

Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 49

***My WPlus9 June Release Sneak Peek: Day 1 is right here.***
**My The Craft's Meow June Release: Day 1 is just below, so just scroll down.**

Hi AGAIN bloggies! Haha! Well, you're probably tired of me by now. But before I let you go, I have one more post for today. Of course since it is Saturday, it can be for none other than Waltzingmouse SKetch Challenge. Here's our sketch for this week's WMSC 49.

I enjoyed this sketch so much. The wonderful thing about Waltzingmouse sketches is that they're pretty simple, and yet open to different interpretations. This sketch challenged me to make a background for my card. So I used Text It and Dainty Doilies 2 Small for that. I also used Very Vintage Labels No. 10 and Fancy Phrases for the label on the sketch.

And since I can barely keep my head up right now...I'm going to keep this post short. As always, don't forget to browse through the cards of the other Mischief Makers as well as Waltzingmouse Stamp Design Team sites.

The Craft's Meow June Release - Day 1

*** It's also my FIRST post for the WPlus9 June Release Sneak Peak -Day 1. Don't forget to check it out here.***

Hello again bloggies. I'm going to be a very, very busy little bee this weekend until June 1st. Lisa, from The Craft's Meow has another round of gorgeous stamps for everyone this month of June. For this release we have stamp sets from the extremely talented, Miss Nina Brackett. We also have a fun, fun, fun stamp set from the amazing Michelle Bertuzzi! :)

If you love flower stamp sets, you are going to fall in love with Celebrating You. Whether you're a Copic master, or a Copic newbie, or even if you don't like coloring...you are going to enjoy these images! Here's my card for today's sneak peek.

I'm not very good with flowers...even any plant for that matter. The only plant I ever tried to take care of was a cactus that died within a week after I got it. Lol! Nina informed us that these gorgeous blooms are called Fuchsia flowers. Aren't they gorgeous?! I'm pretty sure these will stick around for me for a looong time. Haha!

I kept my card pretty simple for this stamp set. The blooms did all the work actually! :) I just put together some patterned paper from Melissa Frances and Basic Grey. Then I adhered them onto my card base and stitched the edges. I used this gorgeous strip of lace to separate the top and bottom part of the card. I don't remember where I got the lace from, but I got it right as the etsy store was closing. I also added some Artisan Elements by Pink Paislee to add a little more drama to the card. :) How do you like it so far?

AND NOW, for the exciting part...PRIZES...What would new release festivities be without chances to win prizes? Yep, we'll draw THREE of you to win Celebrating You... one from each of three of the design team blogs. You'll have until 10:00 pm Pacific tonight to make the rounds and leave comments. We'll announce the winners in tomorrow's post. Enjoy and good luck!!!

WPlus9 June Release Sneak Peek: Day 1

Hi friends! Welcome to my first post as a WPlus9 Design Team member! And what a first post it's going to be! It's also the WPlus9 June Release Sneak Peek: Day 1. For June, WPlus9 has one stamp set, Pile It On, with a coordinating Pile It On die set to release. This set has several wonderful and cute images as well as absolutely fun sentiments.

This is my favorite image from the set. It's a pile of boxes that works as a pile of gifts or...a cake! :) For my first card, I'm using it as a pile of gifts. I wanted to make a birthday card for a girlie-girlie little lady...and here's what I came up with! I stamped the main image on a tag using some pink pigment ink. Then I stamped over it with the ribbon image, using some brown chalk ink. I was going to add some designs to it but I thought that the background paper had too much going on already. So in the end, I decided to keep it simple.

And if you know me, you also know that I love using, ribbon, flowers, crochet lace and buttons! Hee! They're all here for the party! :) I also wanted to add some bling, so I added a star with some silver German glitter on it. What do you think? :)

I hope you liked my first card for WPlus9, and I'll see you again tomorrow for another sneak peek of Pile It On! Don't forget to check out the other fabulous designers of the WPlus9 Design Team! :)

CASE Study Challenge 41 and some FABULOUS NEWS! :)

Hi friends! I'm so sorry the blog has been quiet. We have guests over from the Philippines so it's been busy around here. I was planning on joining the PTI blog hop but we got home at 10:45pm from dinner and dessert. I really should make it a point to make cards for these wonderful hops waaaay earlier. lol!

But anyway, I have a card for everyone tonight and some wonderful, wonderful news! I'm a new DT member for WPlus9 Design Studio!!! The announcement was made here. Yay! I couldn't believe it when Dawn asked me. I was thinking...me? Are you sure? lol! And what's even better, is that my friend from CASE Study Challenge, Cristina Kowalczyk is going to be part of the team as well!!! Yay! :) I also want to thank my friend Christina MacLaren for introducing me to the wonderful stamps of WPlus9. We started blogging almost at the same time. And as our "styles" developed, we've managed to enable each other so many times it's funny. lol! :)

Well then, shall we get on with the show? :) This is Sarah's last week as May's Muse. Make sure to drop by her blog and leave her some love! She's been a wonderful, wonderful muse! And as I've been gushing on and on about it this month, one of the BEST inspirations for me since I started on my path towards the Shabby Chic style. Here's Sarah's card for CASE Study Challenge 41.

This is absolutely beautiful! I love her style of inking the edges of her papers white. And I love all the layering and different textures she always uses. She's such a talented lady. :) Here's my take on her card.

I was browsing through a magazine and saw this color combination on one the ads. I love blue, light brown and kraft together! It's just soooo relaxing! I used some My Mind's Eye patterned papers for this card. I hand drew the shape, cut it and sewed it onto the other patterned paper. I also stamped the beautiful little butterfly girl from The Craft's Meow, Butterfly Kisses on the lower portion of the light blue patterned paper. It's one of my favorite stamps from TCM. :) The label stamp is from Waltzingmouse, Very Vintage Labels No. 5, and the sentiment is Signature Greetings from Papertrey Ink. I hope you like it! I'll see you over at the challenge blog ok!

Don't forget to check out the fabulous ladies on the design team. They've prepared a wonderful feast for the eyes! Here they are!
